The Denver, Colorado office is seeking a FEMA – PA Project Specialist.  In this role you will use your knowledge of the FEMA PA Program to serve as a resource for applicants, assisting them with the development of projects and cost estimates.

 

The specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating with local, state and federal stakeholders to identify and report disaster related damage;
  • Performing damage site assessment visits and developing initial project list to report to FEMA;
  • Advising on policy and program requirements and opportunities for projects;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop project scopes and costs for incorporation into Project Worksheets;
  • Collecting and preparing necessary documentation to support development of Project Worksheets

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Minimum 5 years' of experience working on FEMA projects preferred;
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field; equivalent related experience may be substituted;
  • Experience and training in FEMA Ops I - Project Specialist. Optional experience and training in FEMA Ops II - Project Crew Lead preferred;
  • Knowledge of FEMA EMMIE data entry program preferred;
  • Experience and training in FEMA Cost Estimating Format (CEF) preferred.
