    The Denver Office is seeking An intermediate Chemical or Environmental Engineer to join our Water Treatment Team as part of Golder’s Global Water Treatment Practice. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects in a variety of countries in the areas of mine water, industrial water and potable water treatment.

     

     

    Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Detailed process design including preparation of process diagrams, specifications and plans
    • Treatability testing design and oversight
    • Preparation of technical reports
    • Interacting with clients
    • Preparation of technical proposals
    • Mentoring and overseeing junior staff

     

     

    Job Requirements

     

    The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

    • Undergraduate or graduate degree in chemical, or environmental engineering
    • Currently registered or eligible for professional engineering registration
    • 5 - 10 years relevant working experience since graduation;
    • Strong written and oral communication (English) skills;
    • Experience in problem solving;
    • Experience with, or aptitude for, business development and proposal writing;
    • Proven record of independent work and ability to work effectively within a team environment;
    • Valid driver’s license; and,

    Field experience is an asset and some travel will be required
