The Talent Sourcer is a member of the Global Talent Acquisition team, working with a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a consistent pipeline of passive and active talent to fill vacant and future positions in the local Operations.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Proactively promoting the Golder employer brand, through social media, networking events and conferences
  • Reaching out to passive candidates and building talent pipelines
  • Communicating with candidates that are already in the applicant tracking system, via email and strategic marketing efforts (Utilizing our existing candidate database)
  • Systematically and proactively obtaining referrals from external networks and our existing employees
  • Utilizing various social platforms including Linked-In, Facebook and Twitter to search for candidates
  • Carrying out Boolean search to identify potential candidates
  • Understanding business needs and position profiles to support the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist as needed with position postings
  • Maintaining candidates compliantly using the applicant tracking system
  • Pre-screening/pre-qualifying candidates
  • Undertaking reference checks


Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Marketing/Business Management related field is preferable
  • Previous experience working as a Talent Sourcer/and or within recruitment is desirable
  • Effective communicator both verbal and written
  • Previous experience using Taleo would be an asset
  • Experience sourcing candidates through various channels including Social Media and utilizing Boolean search would be an asset
  • An understanding of employer branding would be an asset
