Golder Associates is seeking a Project Environmental Scientist who will work as part of a team of scientists and engineers in the Mount Laurel, NJ office. Our ideal candidate will be a member of a team that provides project and client management services, remedial investigation, design, regulatory compliance and environmental monitoring services for a broad range of clients. Accordingly, in this role you will interface with and work in multi-disciplinary teams in which the contribution of each member is equally valued.

    Responsibilities:

    This individual will manage environmental projects that involve field studies, report preparation, budget management, and interaction with coworkers, clients, subcontractors, and regulators. Projects will include groundwater, surface water, soil, and air sampling; environmental site assessments; remediation; and treatment system operation, maintenance, and monitoring.

    Additional position responsibilities will include the ability to:

      • Understand various regulatory environments and associated technical requirements;
      • Prepare proposals (scope, schedule, and budget);
      • Prepare reports and other deliverables
    • Execute technical work in areas of expertise
    • Provide effective management of small to medium projects
    • Provide mentoring and supervision for junior staff

     

    Participate in the continued growth and development of the consulting practice in Golder’s Mid-Atlantic Operations
