    Golder Associates Inc. is a global engineering firm specializing in earth sciences and engineering. The Atlanta office has an immediate Senior-Level opening for an Engineer to assist on water resources projects for government, mining, power, waste, and oil/gas clients with a group of dynamic engineers striving to sustainably manage water resources locally, nationally, and internationally.



    Job Requirements



    You are the ideal candidate if you thrive on challenges and possess the following:

    • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Georgia or elsewhere in the Southeastern US
    • Excellent client development and project execution skills.
    • Experience working with dams, hydraulic structures, stream restoration, watershed improvement projects, or water quality treatment systems
    • Critical thinking skills and the ability to search for innovative solutions to tough problems on each assignment
    • Aptitude to lead Teams and deliver results
    • Passion for mentoring and developing employees


    This position will require some travel and field assignments as dictated by project demands. 


    Other Requirements include: 

    • A Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water resources or environmental engineering
    • Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission Level II Certified Design Professional designation or the ability to obtain this designation within 6 months of joining Golder.
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in stormwater modeling, stream restoration, watershed assessment and improvement, or other areas of water resources engineering and design is required.
    • Candidates must have a successful track record of working and communicating with clients and executing projects to the client’s satisfaction.
    • Candidate should be highly motivated and a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills.
